At 12:35hrs Station 75 Ellendale was dispatched to a multiple vehicle motor vehicle collision possibly serious. Upon arrival B-75 discovered 4 vehicles, 2 with heavy damage and possibly 4 patients and 1 fatality. Fire units secured the scene with help from Fire Police, DSP, and DEL-DOT. EMS quickly went to work assesing and packaging the patients for transports to Milford Memorial Hospital, as well as 1 airlift to Christiana Hospital. North and South Bound lanes of US113 were closed for approximately 3 hours.
