Crews from the Ellendale and Lincoln stations arrived to find an 8’ x 4’ metal shed involved with extension to a wooden shed and the woods around the yard. Crews placed a single handline in service and were able to contain and extinguish the fire.

For the first time since weather records have been kept, the area received no rain for the entire month. Please be vigilant and remember that there is a burn ban statewide due to the dry conditions with no rainfall in the forecast for at least another week.
