Barn Fire
February 08, 2024
At 07:23 hours on Thursday, February 8, 2024 the Ellendale Fire Company was alerted for a barn fire in the 16000 block of Beaver Dam Road south of Ellendale.
Crews arrived to find smoke showing from an approximatley 30 foot x 40 foot manure shed at a commercial chicken farm. Crews from Ellendale,
Greenwood Volunteer Fire Company
, and
Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.
worked to open the structure up and contain the fire.
